DESCRIPTION:September 22–25\, 2025 is Falls Prevention Awareness Week in D.C.\, and several area universities have teamed up with Home Care Partners\, Safe at Home\, AARP\, and DACL to host screenings and awareness activities. \nJoin us at the University of the District of Columbia on September 24th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for free screenings and fun activities designed to help you better understand your risk of falls and how to recover if you do fall. You can check your balance\, strength\, vision\, medication\, blood pressure\, and home safety\, as well as learn helpful exercises\, fall recovery\, and about creating a “file of life.”
