Sharita Slayton is a community-driven solutions oriented Native Washingtonian. Her deep commitment to the youth and seniors in Washington, DC, as well as her leadership in advocacy and sustainable change, shows how powerful grassroots efforts can be. From her role as Board Chair of the Legacy Collaborative Senior Village to her work with Dynamic Solutions for the Aging LLC, she values inclusivity and ensuring those affected by challenges are part of creating the solutions. Her experience as a three-term DC Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner in Ward 7, further highlights her dedication to serving and uplifting the community.
