Saving Claire Film Screening & Expert Panel

Marymount University Center for Optimal Aging, in partnership with Safe at Home, is hosting an online screening of “Saving Claire” followed by an expert panel discussion on April 29, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

“Saving Claire” explores the complex nature of aging, how people resist change, & all the relatable patterns that increase fall risk. The film shows Claire’s attitudes and actions & the events that follow her fall, the event engages & empowers audiences while providing paths to action that allow people to improve & enhance their lives and reduce risk.

The screening will be followed by an expert panel moderated by Sara Pappa of Marymount University. The panel includes Dr. Susan Kariko, George Washington University Hospital; Darrick Holland, D.C. Fire & EMS; Andre Wright II, Safe at Home; Jessica McClain, McClain Eyeware; and Delores Athey-Clearfield, Capital City Nurses and Planning for Senior Life.
